Appalachian Honey
Culinary Benefits: This is our most abundant source of honey currently, therefore, the least expensive, and ironically the highest-rated honey in our blind tastings which suprised many of us. It's nothing special, just your standard mountain honey where bees are far from the hustle and bustle of man, collecting pollen from flowering trees, plants, and even pine trees. The taste is mild, pleasant, and perfect for your favorite tea.
Nutritional Benefits: The greatest benefit of honey is its practical application in replacing sugar in our lives. Sugar is an inflammatory and makes our bodies acidic inviting sickness, cancer, and slow healing. As a bonus, it's great for allergies if you are not into comb honey. This honey is thicker than others and is naturally packed with pollen to help build up your natural immunity.
1) Full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and essential amino acids.
2) Soothe sore throats.
3) Great with tea for morning sickness.
4) Improves gut health and proven to aid in the reduction of stomach ulcers and chronic gastrointestinal problems.
5) Improves athletic performance by maintaining glycogen levels and improving recovery time.
About the Apiarists: High in the Appalachian mountains across the North Carolina border these bees are collecting the tree and pine pollen along with the spring wildflower mountain blooms. We receive a large allotment several times a year and the consistency and quality has never failed. Thank you for choosing our partnering beekeepers to nourish your family.
